Parkside summer fete

There was a variety of stalls selling anything from Avon makeup to handmade cards. Guests and resident were also given a wide range of seaside food including candyfloss, ice cream and fish and chips served by Parkside’s very own mermaid.

Entertainment was provided by an Elvis Presley impersonator and a small beach set up in the garden.

Residents also had a chance to throw water at the management.

Councillor Barbara Price, Mayor of Sandwell said the event was a good way to promote mental health awareness and the specialist care required for services ensure the provision of long term successful placement to enhance the lives of the people in you care.

“I’ve got say they are very well looked after I’ve been talking to some of the residents and they are very happy here. That is something to be proud of.”
