Ravensdale charity night raises money for Huntington’s diease

The team at Ravensdale have raised over £500 for the Huntington’s Disease Association with their charity night.

Activities and life skills co-ordinator Heidi Thistlewood volunteered to hold a charity event to raise money for Huntington’s Disease and their home activities fund.

Many of the staff volunteered to help with the event. Home manager Mark Henry  gave up his Saturday evening to play chauffeur, making sure all everyone could come and enjoy the entertainment.

The team raised £345 for their home activities fund.

Occupational Therapist Emma-Louise Simpson said:” Our staff and service users had a fantastic night, and we all look forward to the Dignity garden party Heidi is planning next.”
