Bridgewood Mews Prom 2013

Bridgewood Mews have held their first American style prom for residents and staff to attend.
Steven King, Home Manager said:

“The Prom was a huge success in every sense of the word.  What began as a suggestion for a Valentines meal quickly evolved into a fully fledged Prom evening, held within an adorned marquee complete with live jazz, a Frank Sinatra tribute act, champagne reception, canapés and a disco.  The real stars of the event were the staff, whose combined effort and commitment to making this event such a special evening for our service users was outstanding, and really demonstrated to me and the service users what a fantastic team we have built at Bridgewood Mews.  Months were spent taking the service users out to purchase their evening dresses and tuxedos, making floral corsages, planning the canapés and sourcing appropriate entertainment and decorations. The feedback from service users, friends and family has been nothing short of outstanding , which has made the months of preparation and planning worth every second.  This was arguably Bridgewood Mews’s crowning achievement to date and we are now all very excited about the potential for our 2014 Prom.”
