Care that supports a life

Life in our homes

Moving into a care home shouldn’t mean giving up the things that make life feel like your own.

Our homes are places where people build relationships, make choices, follow their interests, and enjoy everyday life.

A place to call home

Everyone has their own en-suite bedroom, with space to add their belongings and make it their own.

There are also shared spaces for spending time together, accessible outdoor areas, and quieter places to relax.

Your day, your way

There isn’t one version of everyday life at Exemplar Health Care.

We get to know each person and support them to make choices about how they spend their time.

Your routine

Choose when to get up, relax, and do the things that are part of your day.

How you spend your time

Enjoy existing interests, try something new, or simply have time to yourself.

People you want to see

Spend time with friends, family, and the people who are important to you.

Doing the things you enjoy

There’s no set list of activities. What’s meaningful depends on the person.

It could be cooking, shopping, music, sport, volunteering, learning something new, going out, spending time with family, or simply enjoying a favourite hobby.

Hear it from the people who live here

What’s life really like? The people who live in our homes can tell you better than we can.

When I moved here, I was fed through a PEG. With support from the team, I’m now eating a normal diet. I can go for meals with friends and celebrate birthdays with my family – things I couldn’t enjoy in the same way before.”
