About the role
As the Registered Home Manager of this specialist nursing care home for adults with complex physical and mental needs. You will need to be an inspiring leader and excellent role model in everything you do and importantly will lead the home to further success. The home has 22 beds split over 3 units two 10 bedded units and a 2 bed house attached to the main care home. 
CQC Rated Good in all 5 KLOES 
Managing and leading a large team, we will look to you to manage all aspects of the home’s performance. You will have autonomy in which your focus will be on running your home as a successful business, including full profit and loss responsibility, whilst delivering outstanding quality and service to residents.
To ensure you have the support you need you will have a clinical nurse manager who will work closely alongside you plus you will have regular meetings and guidance from your regional director of operations and our clinical team.

Hi my name is Lynda Holden, I have worked in healthcare all of my career, 24 years in the NHS before joining private healthcare and I have worked in Exemplar for 5 years, it was the best move I ever made!
As my retirement looms (early I may add) I will be very sad to leave and I will miss the chats, the laughter and the incredible people who live and work there.
I have been Home Manager  for nearly 3 years, I  am  passionate about my  role and can honestly say that while it is  demanding “hands on” it has simply been  the best place to be. I have always made time to balance the demands of the business with spending time with the service users and without fail those have been the most rewarding of times.

About you
  • Previous experience managing care homes
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • Commercially aware with evidenced results within the health care sector.
  • Profit and Loss experience
  • Hold a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ CQC report
  • Turn around experiences is advantages
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Can do and driven attitude; you are a leader who likes to lead by example with high-quality care at your core value
