Marketing and Communications Officer (internal communications
Based in Leeds with flexible working opportunities
Location: Leeds LS15 8ZA (with opportunities to work from home)
Hours: 09.00-17.00 Monday-Friday
As a Marketing and Communications Officer (internal communications) at Exemplar Health Care, you'll be responsible for creating engaging content for a range of internal marketing campaigns and projects, using the full range of online and offline communication channels.
In this role, you’ll lead on our internal communications and help us to share important information with colleagues from across our Central Services and growing portfolio of care homes.
We’re looking for someone who has strong communication, writing and copy editing skills, and who is self-motivated, creative, has excellent attention to detail and is able to manage differing timescales and priorities.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing Team and HR Team to produce and maintain regular internal communications, such as our weekly email and My Exemplar app, as well as exploring creative ways to keep in touch with our growing workforce. You'll play a key role in creating case studies (both written and video), writing blogs and developing content for a variety of marketing materials including leaflets, webinars and presentations. In this role, you’ll work with teams across the company so great communication skills and the ability to form good working relationships is a must!
Some examples of projects that you might work on include:
- collating content for and building weekly update emails in Mailchimp
- keeping the My Exemplar app up-to-date
- working with our central teams to edit the copy for new guides, and work with our Designer to develop it
- identifying and delivering competitions and projects across the company to support our service users and/or colleagues e.g. summer bake off and Christmas talent show
- producing video and written case studies of our colleagues and service users.
There’ll also be lots of opportunities to get involved in other work and projects, so that you can continue to develop your skills and interests within the role.
Your role will primarily sit in our small and friendly Marketing Team, but you’ll work closely with colleagues from our HR Team and Learning and Organisational Development Team. This is a new role in the team so we’re looking for someone with marketing experience who can work on their own initiative, brings lots of creative ideas and is ready to jump in with both feet.
