Core Learning Facilitator and Business Partner

The role of the Core Learning Facilitator/Business Partner is to support dedicated Homes by delivering Inductions and Mandatory and Statutory training (MAST), whilst supporting the wider learning agenda by promoting Apprenticeships, Leadership Programmes and the Adult Social Care (ASC) funding opportunities.  You will also be supporting delivery of a catalogue of courses to our current colleagues to enhance their continuing professional development (CPD). 
 
We have three positions available in which travelling will be required 
Role 1 Our Support Centre is based in South Yorkshire but travel across the Exemplar Health Care footprint, specifically Sheffield and Stoke on Trent required 
Role 2 Our Support Centre is based in South Yorkshire travel across the Exemplar Health Care footprint required (North West, West and East Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber and North East) 
Role 3 Supporting our commissionign team with our newly built care homes in Preston, Bradford, Birmingham and Hull. The start date for the role is December 2020 - January 2021

Hours: Predominantly Mon to Fri 9-5
Salary: £23,500 – £24,000 dependent on experience

The post while part of the Support Centre (based in Rotherham) will cover the Exemplar Health Care Footprint to ensure you can closely support our colleagues in the homes to be able to provide first class care to all of our service users.
In this varied role, you will be:
  • Facilitating Inductions and MAST across your region, including subjects such as first aid, moving & handling, person centred care and more
  • Delivering programmes to enhance our current colleague’s careers
  • Be a super user on our Exemplar Learning Management System (ELMS) 
  • Working with the home managers to identify individual and group learning needs
  • Development and delivery of bespoke courses as required
  • Monitoring and reporting on training compliance
  • Support the operations team to drive compliance and achieve MAST targets 
  • Supporting apprenticeship programmes 
  • Observing care practices to monitor the efficiency of training
  • Attending regular contact meetings at the Support Centre
You will have excellent training delivery skills and great communication skills (both written and verbal) you’ll be able to build relationships with people at all levels of the organisation. You’ll be able to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team, whist managing your own workload according to the priority of your regional training needs. You’ll be able to work on your initiative, able to raise any concerns or issues appropriately, and have good analytical and report writing skills. You must be able to travel across the Exemplar footprint regularly to carry out your duties.
 
You must either have (or be working towards) a training qualification (PTTLS ,AET or equivalent) or have previous experience of working in healthcare or Learning and Development.
