Dearnevale recognised as ‘Top 20 Care Home 2024’ in Yorkshire and the Humber

Dearnevale is recognised in the top 20 care homes in Yorkshire and the Humber for the seventh year in a row.
The annual Care Home Awards 2024 recognises 20 of the top rated care homes in each region of the UK. The winners are chosen based on published reviews from residents and their loved ones on carehome.co.uk.
The ‘Outstanding’ rated home has maintained a review score of 10 out of 10 based on reviews received in the last two years.
Dearnevale has 50 reviews with an average overall experience of 5 out of 5.
The most recent review from the mother of a resident reads: “This care home is amazing. Our daughter has multiple needs, mentally and physically.
"The staff and management are very professional, yet warm and friendly. The rooms are spotless, yet very homely.
"It is always a very happy and safe environment. We are all extremely pleased with the high standard of care.”

Dearnevale care home in Barnsley, South Yorkshire supports adults living with complex physical disabilities and neuro-disabilities including Huntington's disease and Parkinson's disease.
Dearnevale is a Huntington's Disease Association Quality Assured care home. The accreditation is a quality assurance programme that identifies the behaviours, cultures and specialist services required to specialise in caring for people living with Huntington’s disease.
